Most of you know that my husband Kevin attended Dallas Theological Seminary for nearly six years, pursuing a Ph.D. However, he never met his goal. His path from nineteen-year-old college valedictorian to Ph.D. candidate to high school teacher to youth pastor was plagued with confusion, frustration, and bouts of depression. But the simple process of caring for small animals revealed how his faith needed to grow. If they trust him in several different ways, he realized how little control he has over his circumstances.
He offers his humble story in a debut memoir available on Amazon and I was honored to contribute with a prologue. It is taken from a previous essay called, “Remember.”
Half of all proceeds will be donated to South Lake Pregnancy and Family Care Center in Clermont, Florida.
